In the Pocket

Sydney Loew took the skills she learned in a 7th grade entrepreneurial course to a new level when she and her sister Toni, launched a business and created Poketti Plushies ($14,99,, for the entire family), soft pillows with a sewn-in pocket that holds cell phones, note pads, glasses and other tween essentials. Their collection features four adorable designs — Sydney the Penguin, Toni the Bunny, Baxter the Puppy and Roxi the Kitty – 5,000 of which have been donated to various organizations such as Project Night Night, a non-profit organization based in San Francisco that provides a book, stuffed toy and blanket to homeless children across the country.
