Chesebrough Park in Santa Clarita Gets A Fun Make-over

Chesebrough-PanoramaSanta Clarita residents now have more reasons to enjoy Chesebrough Park. The City of Santa Clarita recently added some fun features to the popular community park.

The new and improved play area now includes bongo drums, a new Hot Wheels track, a climbing wall, Tech Deck fingerboard pool, sand box, and a shape puzzle designed for kids two to five years old.  A new slide, climbing tube and swing set round out the state-of-the-art play area, which is surrounded by several new shade canopies. The park also features a new play area for kids five to 12, featuring a spinning pole, monkey bars, climbing wall, three slides, climbing ropes and rings, and a pull-up bar.  A new rubberized surface puts an extra spring in kids’ steps.

The city donated the park’s original play equipment to ‘Kids Around the World, a nonprofit organization that delivers safe play equipment to children in need in other countries.

Chesebrough Park is located at 23505 Sunset Hills Drive. To view a complete listing of Santa Clarita parks, visit City of Santa Clarita.
