Don’t-Miss Events For November

  • Be Heroic with PJ Masks

Fans of the hit Disney Junior series “PJ Masks” can see Catboy, Owlette and Gekko battle the baddies in the action-packed, music-filled immersive stage production “Time to Be a Hero.” (Try on your cape Nov. 26.)

  • Chart a Course for the Autumn Sea Fair

Go hunting for buried pirate treasure, build a sensational sand sculpture and construct a sea-creature costume with recycled materials at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s Autumn Sea Fair. (Ship ahoy Nov. 19.)

  • Go on a “Shoppie” Spree

“Shopkins” toy characters will come to life in their first stage show, well stocked with danceable music, state-of-the-art sound and set design and a mystery to solve. (The spree starts Nov. 16.)

  • Flip for Flip FabriQue

The Quebec-born Flip FabriQue troupe fills its show “Catch Me!” with an amazing array of acrobatic and aerial tricks performed with a great sense of humor. (Turn things around Nov. 12.)

  • Take a Colorful Run

This year’s Color Run Dream Tour offers a “you’ve got to see it to believe it” course – one with color zones, a foam zone, a dream wall, giant unicorns and everyone throwing colors around. (Show your colors Nov. 12.)

  • Pop in to See Extraordinary Bubbles

The old-fashioned bubble show gets a high-tech makeover in the “Underwater Bubble Show,” which uses magic, mime, puppets and stage effects. (Take the plunge Nov. 5.)

  • Get All Steamed Up at the Circus

Cirque-like acts and steampunk design play a big role in Circus Vargas’ retro-futuristic production that presents high-flying stunts and silly clown fun. (Catch the show Nov. 2 or 16.)

In November, run away with the circus or go on a color run, hang out with the Shopkins or PJ Masks, flip out, bubble up or take to the seas.
