Clairbourn is an independent school offering a full-spectrum, accredited educational curriculum from preschool through grade eight. With an enrollment near 360 students and a teacher/student ratio of 1:10, the school is the ideal size to provide individual attention and a robust educational experience to its student body.
For preschool-age children, the NAEYC accredited Seiter Family Early Childhood Center provides state-of-the-art classrooms for three-year-olds and four-year-olds. The spacious classrooms and creative play yard have been designed with a maximum of flexibility and adaptability allowing teachers to implement new educational advances.
Grades Kindergarten through eighth grade enjoy a beautiful 8-acre campus and spacious classrooms with state-of-the-art technology alongside traditional tried and true educational materials. Our educational program is fully accredited by CAIS and WASC.
The lower school program provides a wide array of experiences in an atmosphere where learning is natural and enjoyable, with a balance between traditional academics and activities that emphasize exploration, observation, and reasoning.
