noon–5 p.m. Tues.-Fri. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat.–Sun. May 23-Aug. 18. This exhibit might be the smallest in L.A. now – it is just one piece that is 4×4 ft – but it would be hard to find one more powerful. Created by a teenage boy named Mohammed Qutaish in war-torn Aleppo, Future Aleppo is part of a larger model of his vision for a restored Aleppo that Mohammed hand-crafted out of whatever scrap of materials he could find over a three year period. The model is on view for free at the Skirball.
