10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 21-Aug. 19. Descanso’s new special exhibit focuses on the relationship between the wildlife and humans who both live in great L.A., especially in the San Rafael Hills and Verdugo Mountains regions. Located in the Garden’s Sturt Haaga Gallery, this interactive exhibition examines what it is like for animals to live in the “wild” that is so close to urban areas. You’ll be able to explore the woodlands through wildlife photography and hands-on displays. See what is like to be a mountain lion traversing through this landscape. Visitors of all ages can see how Southern Californias coexist with nature and the environment around us.
