9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 30-Oct. 31. This isn’t any ordinary autumn at Underwood. 2017 marks its 150 years of farming, 50 years of marriage for owners Craig and Sara Jane Underwood and 20 year of the Fall Harvest Festival. The Farm has an ocean of pumpkins to choose from as well as giant hay pyramids, the sling shot and corn cannon, corn stalk labyrinth, horse-drawn wagon rides, country games and other autumnal amusements. Each weekend holds a special theme too. Sept. 30-Oct. 1 is with Friends of the Farm Weekend that salute local First Responders and raises money for regional organizations. Twangy music will fill the Farm on Oct. 7-8 for Farm Country Weekend. The annual Antique Tractor Weekend will be Oct. 14-15, while it’s Wild West Weekend on Oct. 21-22. October’s final weekend is “All About Pumpkins,” and a good time to pick up some final items for Halloween.
