Kids Can Rock Out With Hard Rock’s New Menu

Fun ideas for kids Roxtars menuKids not only get a lesson in rock history while dining at Hard Rock Café, but also a lesson in healthy eating.

The restaurant, known for its impressive display of rock memorabilia and music videos (and now fun ideas for kids), has launched a new kids’ menu that’s sure to be a hit with little rockers across the country. The “Roxtars” menu offers the usual kid fare – burgers, mac ‘n’ cheese and pasta – but adds a couple of healthy alternatives including grilled chicken breast and chicken salad. This menu is the result of a collaboration between the National Restaurant Association’s Kids LiveWell program and Healthy Dining, an online resource for parents and children looking to make healthy choices when dining out.

Side dishes include fresh fruit, seasonal vegetables, French fries or mashed potatoes. The meal, $7.95 including a drink, is delivered to the table in a super-cool guitar-shaped plate.
