Brick Fest Live isn’t a place where contractors compare building materials, it’s the epitome of fun things to do in LA for builders of all ages. The building at Brick Fest Live involves the small plastic pieces commonly known as LEGOs.
Fest-goers can race their custom-built LEGO cars in the Brick Fest Derby or play a game of mini-golf on the Brick-Links. They can showcase their LEGO video game skills, test their LEGO IQ at a trivia game and check out the rare and vintage LEGOs for sale.
Brick Fest will start out at Anaheim’s American Sports Centers (1500 Anaheim Blvd., #110) from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 6 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug 7, then make its return to the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E. Green St.) from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-6 p.m. Aug. 27 and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 28. Tickets are $19 in advance and $27 at the door in Pasadena, and $25 at the door in Anaheim.
