If you’re looking for a charming winter wonderland for the whole family, the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village has snow, s’mores, cookies with Mrs. Clause and much more.
The Four Seasons Westlake Village is one of my fav getaway spots. I have escaped work deadlines many times with my mom friends to find absolute tranquility and bliss in the hotel’s exquisite spa. I’ve enjoyed overnight stays here with my high school girlfriends as well. And after the first year my older daughter started college, we spent a wonderful mother/daughter day together at the spa and poolside the week before she headed back to school. Even though I live about 15 minutes away from this hotel, every time I step foot into the lobby, I feel like I’m instantly on vacation.
Joining the hotel’s “Let It Snow” holiday fun this past weekend reminded me what a terrific local escape the Four Seasons Westlake Village is for us L.A. parents. Every Friday and Saturday night from December 2 – 17, the hotel has a special holiday treat for its guests. The annual “Let It Snow” event includes a hybrid ice skating rink in the garden area, holiday express train rides, photos with Santa at the North Pole, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus, holiday carolers, snowfall, elf story time, s’mores on an open flame and a hot cocoa and coffee station.
Every Saturday and Sunday morning from December 3- 18, the hotel hosts a Holiday Character Breakfast. The farmer’s market breakfast includes local fruit, a gourmet omelet station and a variety of breads and pancakes. And since this experience is all about holiday magic, guests will have the opportunity to have a meet-and-greet with their favorite holiday characters and princesses.
Package rates start at $369 per night and include three people; each additional person is $40 per person. To reserve the Winter Wonderland package at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village or for reservations, visit www.fourseasons.com/westlakevillage.
