Check Out Our Newest LA Parent Cover Kids Winners

By Christina Elston

These cuties will appear on our covers in 2017

Back in September, we gathered more than 100 L.A. families at The Point at Rosecrans and Sepulveda in El Segundo for our annual Cover Kids contest. It was a fun and festive day featuring an “Imagine Station” from California Connections Academy @ Capistrano, free toothbrushes from Children’s Dental Fun Zone, food decoration by Galina and other fun activities.

Books & Cookies, Cultural Care Au Pair, Pump It Up of Torrance, Sylvan Learning Centers and Stratford School were there to greet participants, and OXiGEN Water was kind enough to keep us all hydrated.

But the biggest attraction was the L.A. Parent photographers – Philicia Endelman, Joe Gonzales, Morgan Pansing and Lauren Pisano – who were on hand to capture images of all the adorable kids who turned out that day. We had a great time meeting so many readers and their kids, and came home with tons of wonderful photos.

After much deliberation, our team has finally chosen five winners. The first appears on the cover of this issue, and the others will be featured on upcoming covers throughout the year. Our winners are:

Chloe Cleary, 1, of North Hollywood.

Brody Breakfield, 3, of Santa Monica.

Bryson Duffaut, 5, of El Segundo.

Deya Dellagatta, 6, of L.A.

Samantha Kimura, 6, of Rancho Cucamonga.

Thanks to our hosts at The Point, our exhibitors and sponsors, our photographers and all of the families who came out to make Cover Kids fun. Watch our website and social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @LAParentMag for news about Cover Kids 2017.
