Disney Store Opens New Location In Thousand Oaks

Disney Grand Opening Photo Los Angeles AttractionsDisney Store will celebrate the grand opening of the next in its line of Los Angeles attractions, a new store at The Oaks in Thousand Oaks (390 W. Hillcrest Dr.) July 25. The event will begin at 10 a.m., when one lucky child will be invited to “unlock imagination” and open the store.

The celebration will feature a festive song, composed specially for Disney Store and performed by the store Cast Members. The first 500 guests will receive a free gift and an opportunity to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the lower-level center court from noon to 4 p.m.

As guests enter the store and look above, they will see a customized skyline incorporating local landmarks – including the Stagecoach Inn and Conejo Valley Botanic Garden – in addition to classic Disney features. The store will also include unique elements such as a blue Pixie Dust Trail, Magical Trees, Disney Store Theater and Storytelling Neighborhoods featuring Disney, Marvel and Star Wars products.

Disney Store opened its first store in Glendale, and there are more than 200 Disney Store locations in North America; more than 40 in Japan; and more than 70 Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom.
