Through state-of-the-art CGI animation, the movie brings to life this long-extinct world with splendid images from timeless places including Yellowstone National Park, Alaska and the Rocky Mountains captured through ultra-high-def digital cameras. The Tar Pits and museum paleontologists also are featured in the movie, which is narrated by Oscar-winning actor Christopher Plummer.
