Big Sunday decided to have a special event every day in May 2016. The month was such a success that the L.A.-based organization is doing it again this year and calling it a Month of Big Sundays (MOBS).

Among MOBS events where families can volunteer are beautification projects at Wilshire Crest Elementary School May 7 and Dymally High School May 21, and a makeover for MyCLUB Youth Center May 20. The no-kill dog sanctuary Beagles & Buddies is offering multiple dates when people can help out. You also can join Big Sunday at its annual Bingo & Bagels get-together from 9-11 a.m. May 7 at Canter’s Deli on Fairfax Avenue, and they’ll be hosting friends from the Downtown Women’s Center.

For a complete list of events, or to create your own, visit www.bigsunday.org/mobs.
