It might be hard to imagine a time when you could only find Iron Man, Captain America and other Marvel superheroes in the pages of comic books. Today they can be found in movies, TV shows, computer games, merchandise of all types and Disneyland’s new “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!” attraction.
But this month, fans should get ready to encounter these superheroes in a whole new way. “Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes” is a stage spectacular featuring Marvel Comics heroes and villains. In the stunt-packed extravaganza, Dr. Strange brings together the Avengers (Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk and Black Widow), Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy crew (Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket and Drax) to battle the villainous Nebula, Loki and Green Goblin in the hope of keeping these evil forces from taking over the universe. Special effects and video projections help immerse the audience in the show’s thrilling action.
“Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes” comes to Staples Center July 7-9, before moving on to Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena July 13-16 and the Honda Center in Anaheim July 20-23. Show times and ticket information can be found at www.MarvelUniverseLIVE.com.
