A select group of lucky kids had quite an experience at this year’s E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), where Nintendo hosted the very first Kids Corner. Visitors had the exclusive opportunity to preview nine never-before-seen titles for the Wii U console and Nintendo 3DS family.

Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, came by and demonstrated Pokémon Art Academy, which is scheduled to launch in October. In this game, players will take on the role of aspiring artists and learn to draw Pokémon.

But the fun didn’t end there. Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Yoshi games creator Takashi Tezuka stopped by and challenged some of the kids to play!

It’s no doubt that Nintendo made its mark at this year’s Expo. It was great to see that a classic video game like Super Mario Bros. still resonates across generations. Visit www.nintendo.com for the latest updates on newly released games.
