At Steve & Kate’s Camp, we give kids the freedom to choose what they want to do, whether that’s music, bread-making, fashion, filmmaking, coding, outdoor sports, lounging, or enjoying goofy summertime shenanigans in their own individual ways. Buy any number of days (including an all-summer Membership) and show-up whenever—no need to tell us ahead of time that you’re coming. If you buy more than you need, we’ll automatically refund back unused Day Passes at the end of the summer. Critter Camp is a week-long program for animal lovers 9 to 12 years old. Campers will get hands-on with animals as they learn about dogs, cats and other critters in our shelter, as well as animal behavior, pet adoption, co-existing with wildlife and careers with animals. Activities include: Hands-on animal activities Arts and crafts Fun and games Humane Education Our Critter Camps run Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. The cost for each camper is $300 and includes a t-shirt, a Community Service Certificate for 30 hours, and an enrichment project for our shelter animals. Camp Los Encinos is the day camp where the campers get to choose! Campers in grades K-6 and CITs in grades 7-9 are welcome to join us daily or weekly (with FREE extended care 8:00am-4:00pm). Kids build each day around a variety of cool activities, such as sports, arts & crafts, technology, photography, drone-flying, iMovie-making, comic book creation, cooking, yoga, as well as enrichment time, just to name a few. The choice is yours! Water slides and awesome field trips round out each week, making Camp Los Encinos a super summer camp! This intensive Chinese Mandarin camp will introduce beginning students to the Chinese language and give them lots of chances to have fun. The Help Group camps provide a safe and enriching atmosphere for children, teens, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs. There are four unique day camps offered in Sherman Oaks and Culver City, which create opportunities to engage, experience, and explore.
