Science Camp at The Master’s University

Grades 5-8 join Dr. Matt McLain for an exciting time exploring and experimenting in this day camp hosted at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita.

Camp Dates: Monday, July 15 – Thursday, July 18, 8:30-2:30, including lunch, snacks, pool time, t-shirt and cool gear, and all science materials!

Camp activities include:

Quigley Canyon Expedition: Hike through Quigley Canyon to see the riverbed, learn about rocks, minerals, rivers, plants, and animals, and obtain samples of moss or dirt for use later in the week.

Giants!: Mark and exhibit the sizes of various extinct and living animals.

Fossil Match: Campers explore and learn about paleontology by matching fossils to the correct creatures, uncovering ancient treasures, and discovering the wonders of the past.

Curious Chemistry: Campers engage in an unforgettable learning journey of captivating chemistry demonstrations! Experience the magic of science firsthand and ignite your curiosity.

Learning Sessions: Captivating presentations on science and Scripture, with a lineup that includes interactive talks, games, skits, and more for a dynamic learning experience.
