10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 12, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 13. Celebrates California’s past and present, this yearly community event kicks off Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with traditional parade that goes from Yerba Buena Elementary School to Reyes Adobe Park. In the park, the free festival features such family-friendly activities as pony rides, petting zoo, a history scavenger hunt with rope and candle making, rancho living demonstrations, and museum tours. Live performances include Queen and Elton John tributes and there will be plenty of food, drinks and vendors on site. For those runners so inclined, the RAD Runs (with a 10K and 10-mile events) precedes the parade on the 12th.
