Game designer and documentary film editor Mike Jorgensen leads this workshop explores how the video game Fortnite have in common with Shakespeare – at how they both use language to invent fabulous treasures, describe fortifications, and plan daring heists, as well as teaching us about how words and phrases are created and popularized. This free session is designed for up to 20 students. Reservations are encouraged and can be done by visiting workshops.826la.org or calling 310-915-0200. Drop-ins are welcome, if space allows.
