7:30 p.m. Wed.-Thur.; 8 p.m. Fri., 2 p.m., 8 p.m.; 2 p.m. Sun. Jan 24-Feb. 16. The La Mirada Theatre revives “Arsenic and Old Lace,” a murderously funny black comedy concerns two spinster sisters whose “acts of charity” involves poisoning lonely, old men with their homemade arsenic-laced elderberry wine. This play, which has a theatrical hit since it hit Broadway in the 1940s, has a G rating, probably because it emphasizes the zany comedy over the more criminal elements of the plot. Still, no children under 3 years old will be admitted to a performance. Audience Talk-Back sessions with the cast will happen on Jan. 29 and Feb. 12, while the 2 p.m. Feb. 15 show will be ASL interpreted.
