A combination of the cool and crazy, this eclectic exhibition highlights the work of more than 50 artists from the pages of Juxtapoz, the underground culture magazine that helped redefine the role and imagery of automobiles in modern art. Additionally, the exhibition includes a number of customized cars that exemplify the Juxtapoz school. Among the cars on display are 1932 Ford Roadster named “Prickly Heat” by Robert Williams, “The Orbiton” by “Big Daddy” Roth, and the 1959 Cadillac titled “The New and Improved Ultima Suprema Deluxa” by Kenny Scharf. Parental discretion is advised due to the risque material in some works, but this exhibit should be suitable for tweens and older.
