This exhibit examines human anatomy, physiology and health through real human plastinates. This new generation of plastinates show, on one hand, the impact of ill health (through examples like hardened arteries and a smoker’s black lung) as well as bodies that are supported by a healthy lifestyle (such as dancers and athletes). Due to some graphic images, this exhibition may not be suitable for some children. A Parent Guide is available on the museum’s website for review. Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Recommended for ages 10 and older.
