10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 15-Sept. 7. Butterflies are taking flight again in Exposition Park! The Natural History Museum’s always popular habitat will be home to a colorful selection of over 30 different species of beautiful butterflies, including California natives like the mourning cloak and buckeye. It’s a chance to get an up-close view of these lovely creatures. You also can see caterpillars feeding on leaves as well as chat with museum educators and live animals keepers to find out what makes these animals so special.
