Patchwork quilting often is seen as an old-fashion craft form; however, artists such as Adia Millett and Faith Ringgold, have turned it into fine art. After viewing Adia Millett’s work in the “Breaking Patterns” exhibit for inspiration, you can join the artist and design a paper patchwork on your own or as part of a family project. Hang it up with pride or even use as inspiration for an actual patchwork quilt! Space is limited; RSVP required. Ages 5 and older.
