10 a.m.-5 p.m. through June 7. “Night and Day” explores visions of Catalina through the eyes and palettes of contemporary plein air painters. The natural island beauty and bustling seaside community of Avalon have long been a draw for artists and painters. This exhibition focuses the virtuosity of those who captured the island during dawn, day, dusk and dark, celebrating their success in bringing the impressionist technique back from the twilight to advance the contemporary plein air movement.
