Fifty years ago this July, the United States achieved what had once seemed impossible, sending three American astronauts to the moon. At the library today, you can learn some of the history of the Apollo missions from NASA Solar System Ambassador Rosanne Sachson, who will share memories of the history-making event. All ages are welcome, and anyone with mementos of the moon landing are encouraged to bring those items and share. Children attending will also get a free sample of astronaut ice cream, while supplies last.
