East Meets West Hosting Webinar – LESSONS LEARNED FROM COVID-19
Have we ever thought about preparing for a situation if one of our family members, a loved one, becomes a COVID-19 patient? East Meets West Parent Education Club, EMWPEC, is sponsoring a webinar presentation on Sunday, March 28th, 2-3 PM. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Cynthia Pan, a well-respected New York physician and national speaker who treated Covid-19 patients and herself has contracted Covid last year. Dr. Pan will take webinar attendees on a journey to learn how to build a healthy family relationship and parenting advice from her professional and personal experience during the pandemic. Presentation topics include How to Sustain a Healthy Family Relationship if infected from Covid-19? Post-Pandemic Sequelae, Mental Health, and Cures; The Truth of the Vaccines; Distance or Hybrid Learning? Benefits from the Pandemic.
Dr. Pan is an internal medicine, geriatrics, and palliative care physician in Queens, New York. She is the founding director of the Palliative Care Program at New York-Presbyterian Queens (NYPQ), During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Pan disseminated basic palliative care tools to frontline clinicians to help their care of seriously ill patients.
