Drawing inspiration from the exhibition “The Hilton Als Series: Njideka Akunyili Crosby,” this family-friendly program begins in the gallery with a brief talk about the Los Angeles–based artist’s collage-based paintings and ends with a workshop, where children can create their own self-portrait collage exploring themes of identity, history, and place. The workshop is for children ages 7 and up and is included in admission to The Huntington.
