In celebration of its current exhibition, “Natural History of Horror,” this museum hosts this evening that examines the classic horror film, “Creature from the Black Lagoon” and dissect how scientific discoveries have stirred fear and inspired creativity in people past and present. All audiences and ages are welcome to attend this not really frightful event. Guests will have unique access to the exhibition and rare museum collection displays. There will be special effects makeup artist demonstrations, hands-on workshop, a special performance, and a pre-film conversation before the movie screening. The 1954 horror classic, which runs 79 minutes, is not rated. Drinks will be available for purchase and complimentary light snacks will be available while supplies last.
