Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex to Willow Street Estuary

9 a.m.-noon April 13, 20, 27. Be a friend of the Friends of the LA River (FOLAR) and assist them in their 30th Los Angeles River clean up. Taking part over three Saturday, it is America’s largest urban river cleanup takes place over three Saturday, and goes north to south down the basin. On April 13, volunteers with tackle the Upper River (Sepulveda Basin Sports Complex, Haskell Creek, Bette Davis Picnic Area and Glendale Narrows Riverwalk). The Middle River (Los Feliz Blvd@Bond Park, Lewis MacAdams Riverfront Park, Bowtie Parcel@Fletcher Dr and Arroyo Seco Confluence) is the focus of April 20’s effort, and then the Lower River (Compton Creek@Del Amo Station, Willow Street Estuary, and Golden Shore Marine Reserve) gets a cleaning on April 27.
