This inaugural event is an up-to-5-mile hike that symbolizes the distance that a parent in a developing country has to travel on foot to try to gain access to surgical care for their child. Walk a few miles in their shoes and help us provide them the care they need. The hike is in October so Mending Kids can continue to offer critical surgical care to children in need all over the world, including in the USA. Every step you take this morning, you take with them. By hiking and raising funds through your journey, you raise awareness of their struggle and help these families return home with mended children and healthy futures.
