10 a.m.-6 p.m. May 5-March 15. The pivotal role that cars have played in movies and video games will be spotlighted at the Petersen Automobile Museum. On display are over 40 Hollywood vehicles from films and video games, including the time machine from “Back to the Future”, the 2008 Audi R8 from “Iron Man,” Bumblebee from the “Transformers” series, the GM Ultralight from “Demolition Man, Batmobiles, and the Warthog from “Halo.” Additionally, the exhibit will present a selection of concept artwork, props and costumes that consider the ways that movies and video games can expand the boundaries of human imagination. Visitors can also check out a cool Microsoft HoloLens installation called “Worlds Reimagined”; this mixed reality experience lets you see the Warthog from “Halo” and the “Back to the Future” time machine in an exciting new way.
