A Minnesota Chippewa, artist David Bradley has explored questions regarding identity, self-determination and the definitions of “traditional” Indian art for over the last three decades. Walking the line between fun and serious, modern and historical, Bradley incorporates the diverse influences of Renaissance art, advertising, Santa Fe-style painting, film and other pop culture elements into his eye-catching, thought-provoking art. The exhibit should suitable for tweens and older. The Autry is closed May 27, July 4, Sept. 2, Nov. 28, Dec. 24-25, 31.
