noon-7 p.m. Wed.-Sun. Nov. 8-Feb. 17 (closed Nov. 22, Dec. 25, Jan. 1). Explore the beauty of the natural world in this solo exhibition. At the core of Sloan’s work is a deep concern and respect for our planet, particularly its “silent inhabitants” – the animals and plants we share this world with. In this family-friendly show, kids will love the lush, large-scale canvases of birds, elephants and other animals while adults can reflect on the deeper meaning of what happens when the natural and man-made worlds collide. This is also the debut exhibit at the museum’s new location in the Oaks.
