9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. March 14-15. This two-day festival lets you explore the “wild side” of Los Angeles. The city has a surprising amount of nature living among the concrete, metal and wires. Come learn about the variety of plants and animals existing in Southern California along with finding out about the people devoted to protecting and studying them. The festival is located in the museum’s Nature Gardens, an outdoor space where museum scientists do real research and educators share nature’s amazing stories.
