Join the Los Angeles Public Library for a live streaming conversation on racial injustice and reconciliation surrounding George Takei’s new graphic memoir about Takei’s imprisonment in a WWII Japanese American concentration camp. Former WWII incarceree and Japanese American National Museum volunteer, June Berk, will be interviewed by two students from the Koreatown Youth and Community Center’s Koreatown Storytelling Program. Participation in the book discussion gets you a chance to win a free copy of the book. The event will stream live on LAPL’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
