7:30 p.m. Dec. 6-7. This local holiday tradition tells the story of Juan Diego, a simple peasant to whom the Virgin Mary appeared in the mountains near Mexico City in 1531. Featuring music and dance, this pageant play shares a universal message of faith, love and perseverance that people of races, languages, and religions can relate to. This Latino Theater Company-produced stage show, featuring features over 100 actors, singers and indigenous Aztec dancers, is performed in Spanish with English subtitles.
