2-3:30 p.m. March 7, 21. Coinciding with the exhibition “Rufino Tamayo: Innovation and Experimentation,” artist-in-residence Raul Baltazar will use experimental techniques that involve collage, paper-making, piñata, and painting to create 2-D and sculptural works inspired by the Mexican Oaxacan artist Rufino Tamayo. This free workshop is open to the public. Complimentary parking is available in the lot at 611 S. Carondelet St. between Wilshire Blvd. and 6th St. Enter the gallery at the corner of Park View and Wilshire. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
