2-3:30 p.m. Jan. 18, Feb. 1, 15. Coinciding with the exhibition “Rufino Tamayo: Innovation and Experimentation,” artist-in-residence Raul Baltazar will use experimental techniques that involve collage, paper-making, piƱata, and painting to create 2-D and sculptural works inspired by the Mexican Oaxacan artist Rufino Tamayo. This workshop is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking is available in the lot at 611 South Carondelet Street between Wilshire Boulevard and 6th Street. Spaces are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter the gallery at the corner of Park View and Wilshire Boulevard. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
