This year, the Levitt’s L.A.’s children and family programming has been retitled as the Cultural Sundays Series. Angelenos and their families can join in an immersive cultural celebration highlighting LA’s diverse communities and vibrant tapestry. We Are One (June 16) is a Brazilian-themed festival featuring musical performances, food vendors, arts and crafts, and family entertainment, including the Larchmont Charter Samba School. 2nd Annual Sonidos Salvadoreños (June 23) features some of the best local traditional and contemporary Salvadoran music and dance talent. Band Camp (June 30) will showcase the best of L.A.’s school and community youth bands and orchestras. Gusto Guatemalteco (July 7) showcases talented traditional and contemporary Guatemalan musicians and dancers. Grammy-winner Mariachi Divas headline 2nd Annual Tamal Festival (July 14) that will take audiences on a gastronomical journey through Mexico, Central and South America. July 21 is day 2 of the annual KX Fest, which celebrate Korean entertainment, cuisine, culture and lifestyle. Ethiopia Day (July 28) delivers a day of Ethiopian musical performances, food vendors, arts and crafts, and family entertainment. The series, which continues on through August, typically go from 4-7 p.m. although July 21 and 28 start at 3 p.m. Check its website for full details and to RSVP for free entry.
