This group exhibition features sculptures, performances, installations and multimedia works by seven artists and collectives—Eddie Aparicio, Tau Lewis, Las Nietas de Nonó, Sondra Perry, SANGREE, WangShui and Wilmer Wilson IV. Inspired by a letter that cultural theorist Sylvia Wynter wrote in the aftermath of the 1992 L.A. uprising, “No Humans Involved: An Open Letter to My Colleagues,” the exhibition questions what it means to be human.
“No Humans Involved” will be on display from Oct. 10 – Jan. 9 during museum hours, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tues. – Sun.
