This annual celebration of the art of storytelling will take place at several Ojai locations Oct. 25-28. However, there will be a OSF event happening today at Scherr Forum Theatre. Three acclaimed storytellers, Diane Ferlatte, Clare Murphy, and Willy Claflin, will delight young audiences with a Jack-o-Lantern BOO! Not Too Scary Stories program. From 10-11 a.m., the trio will share tales that are suitable for students in grades K-3, and they will do one for those in grades 4-8 from noon-1 p.m. You can tell from the times that these are geared for school class trips but the shows also are open to the public for groups of 10 or more. There will be several family-friendly events in Ojai on the 26th, including Willy Claflin and The Chameleons’ show “Crossing Over: Stories from Here to There” at 3:30-5 p.m at the Ojai Art Center Patio. Complete festival details and schedule can be found at www.ojaistoryfest.org/.
