Oct. 14-March 11. “Termite Art” was a term conceived by American painter/film critic Manny Farber to describe art created by an artist who “seems to be ingesting both the material of his art and the outside world.” Inspired by Farber’s theory, this MOCA exhibit contains works both by Farber and more contemporary artists whose work reflect the “Termite Art” concept. The museum describes the result as “a meditation on the everyday and the passage of time,” which should most interest those ages 12 and older.
