It’s that time of year to catch a glimpse of nature during Whale Watching Season taking place off the coast of Oxnard. The season officially kicks off the day after Christmas (Dec. 26) and runs thorough mid April 2020. Both Island Packers, (Ventura County’s official concessionaire to the Channel Islands National Park) and Channel Islands Sportfishing Center offer whale watching excursions directly from Channel Islands Harbor.
