The family-friendly artistic festival free family-friendly artistic festival will feature art-making workshops with professional artists, performances, open studios with resident artists, exhibitions, food trucks, and other creative activities. Workshops will range from making puppets and acting out short plays to learning how to compost with worms. Performances include Ballet Folklórico and other cultural dance traditions from Cabeza de Vaca Cultural Dance School; original rhymes and beats of the Pico Youth and Family Center youth MCs and Earthian Folk Dance with artist and performer DaeUn Jung & Friends. This year debuts an Artisan Marketplace to go along with the food vendors, artists’ open studios, and neighborhood organizations. Online RSVP requested.
