This exhibit celebrates the life, work, and legacy of Edward Ross Roybal, the first Mexican-American to be elected to the Los Angeles City Council in the 20th century. It showcases a variety of art pieces, including the original clay cast used to create two busts of Edward Ross Roybal, one that is in L.A.’s City Hall, and the other that is on display at Roybal High School. The gallery will also be open on Fri.-Sun. night before performances of “Remembering Boyle Heights.”
