noon, 2 p.m. Aaron Nigel Smith is delighted to return to his former hometown of L.A. for a performance of some of his best-known children’s songs and Jamaican and African folk songs. His reggae rhythms encourage families to sing, dance, and play together. An educator and established musician known for the Emmy Award–winning PBS show Between the Lions, Smith and his wife, Diedre, formed the nonprofit One World Chorus in 2009 with the goal of building bridges internationally through choral singing. Today’s show will also feature student performers from the Center St. School Choir under the direction of Rebecca Wright.
