The Blue Ribbon Children’s Festival offers students the opportunity to learn while having fun and experience a world-class performance by a professional dance company, Dorrance Dance. In a free, virtual event geared for students in grades 3–12 and their families, the free program reflects the current distance learning environment and illuminates the repertory, vocabulary and history of tap dance. Kids will have access to watch an easy-to-learn dance routine so participants can dance together at the program’s end. The presentation will be available to watch on demand for a limited time through June 30, 2021 on musiccenter.org.
