The Battleship IOWA Museum’s first-ever film festival will feature the 2019 Emmy Award winning documentary “The Last Signal” and WWI documentary “They Shall Not Grow Old (2018)”, along with a live Q&A by Emmy Award-winning Director Kyle Olson. Free family-friendly activities, including mural painting, Vicky the Dog storytime, and food vendors, will be happening on the ship’s Fantail. Ship tours will be offered from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and they will be free for all active, reserve and retired military.
